U Street is a hip and urban, yet sophisticated neighborhood preferred by everyone from college students to business professionals. It’s one of Washington's most historic and diverse communities, vibrant and anchored by the lively 14th Street corridor to the west and the refurbished Howard Theatre to the east. The area offers eclectic and exciting food options, from soul food to Italian to the world-famous Ben’s Chili Bowl. On the eastern end, you’ll find 'Little Ethiopia' with its unique eateries. Cap off your U Street adventure with a scoop from Ice Cream Jubilee, and enjoy the Saturday farmers’ market at U and 14th streets.
Smoking of any kind is not permitted anywhere in the interior of the building or within fifty feet of the building, including outdoor spaces. A $500 smoking fee applies if violated. Parties and events are strictly prohibited, and noise monitoring devices are installed to ensure compliance. Excessive noise or gatherings will result in termination of your reservation without refund. Exterior cameras record common areas and entries. Certain items should not be flushed or put down drains to avoid plumbing issues, and charges may apply if these cause problems. The home may require unexpected or scheduled maintenance, with 24-hour notice provided to guests.
The apartment features private business speed Wi-Fi, making it ideal for remote work. A laptop computer is not included.
